Call for Applications: Experiential Learning Funding Opportunities Under BSU II Project
The Office of Research, Innovations and Development (ORID) invites applications from PhD students from the University of Ghana who have completed their first year, to apply for an Experiential Learning funded opportunity. The funding for the programme is offered by the Building Stronger Universities in the developing countries project – Phase II (BSU II).
The Building Stronger Universities in the developing countries project – Phase II (BSU II) – is a partnership between research and higher educational institutions in developing countries and Danish universities with support from DANIDA.
The overall objective of BSU II is to enhance the capacity of the University of Ghana to achieve its aim of transforming into a first-class research University. The specific objective of this call is to strengthen the University’s institutional capacity to deliver high quality research , PhD education and training under the UG Centres of Excellence thematic areas.
Successful applicants will be attached to faculty members working in any of the four thematic research areas of UG Centres of Excellence listed below:
- Trans-Disciplinary Research into Climate Change Adaptation
- Enhancing Food Production and Processing
- Development Policy and Poverty Monitoring and Evaluation
